FOUNDATION NEWS
On the 14th of August, Foundation students were able to experience hands on learning through an interactive weather incursion. Students participated in 4 fun rotational activities centred around weather, seasons and natural disasters. They looked at rainbows, rainbow prisms and learnt about erosion. They were given opportunities to explore an array of hands on activities such as making slushy snow and using solar power to make things move. Students also learnt the important role of meteorologists and had a wonderful time role playing being weather presenters, using dress ups, props and a microphone!
A wonderful time was had by foundation students and teachers!

GRADE 1 NEWS
Interactive Learning Activities in Grade 1
During Term 3, Grade 1 students participated in a range of interactive learning activities for procedural writing. Some of these activities included making pizzas and pancakes, planting a seed, play dough and jelly making. It was overall a fun and enjoyable term for all students with great success and achievement.
